The cradle of life sometimes it ends to soon
The cradle of life it begins the journey through the womb
So many dreams you had before birth you taught about life and self worth
Life takes courage, but life’s storms can rage on
The life lessons you taught was how to be strong
Watching as this life knocked you down time after time you found a way to rebound
Protecting was the first clue that a superhero was inside of you
Be it together or you did it alone to every mom that made a house a home
Choices that helped you grow and learn to see that life sometimes has great veracity
With every trial and every test you fought hard and gave your best
Worn and weary it was not hard to see some days in life you just wanted to be
In life there are so many who throw stones Watching you weather it all and go through it alone
For all the moms you get to see and for all those we lost and hold in memory
With gratitude and love to every mom in every way
I wish each and everyone of you a Happy Mother’s Day
