LIES by Gladys W. Muturi

Lie, Lie, Lie

Why do you have to lie?

Every time I see your eyes roll in a different direction

You say nothing kept mouth closed inattention

You stay away from me

I haven't been with you awhile

I would rather take a hundred miles

Yet you're making excuses

Sorry for issues

Better throw in the towel or tissue

Say you miss me here and there

You kiss me now and then

There you are running around your mouth

With so many lies coming out of your mouth

You tried to fill in the blanks

You took the time to empty the tanks

No thanks I don't want that in my life

Your lies are a waste of my life

Lie, Lie, Lie

Every time you try, try, try

You deny, deny, deny

Why?

Why do you have to lie?

I want to try to forgive

But you give me all your lies

Is it a crime for you to lie?

Don't give me something I can't buy

I'm so tired of your lies

If I were you, you wouldn't like me to do the same too

I hate your lies, lies, lies

Why don't you get a life, life, life?

I am done with your lies, lies, lies

Here I say goodbye bye, bye, bye

Your lies are a waste of my life

heartbreak
