Clever for you to pick a constellation/ astrological sign!! Nicely done Dana!! I love that you left it broad enough to be any sign.
Cleverly composed!! Love how contemplative it is in just three lines
Well-wrought! The sun actually passes through thirteen signs. The hidden fellow being Ophiuchus, the archetypical healer, with his foot planted on Scorpio. I think, though of course it's only speculation, that this is where from comes the story of Chiron, the wounded healer, who becomes the constellation Sagittarius. It was actually Ophiuchus, bitten by the Scorpion, who was the wounded healer, and the legend of Chiron is a nod to the consolidation to twelve from thirteen which left the poor old fellow out of the mix in our modern interpretion. But I saw a thirteen-sign representation of the zodiac with Ophiuchus on it in a salvaged piece of Roman sculpture in an art museum, so he must have survived in some interpretations even to that point in antiquity.
this is a great example of a haiku - packs a lot to think on into a very little package.
It does speak for itself! Excellent work!
