Edward cannot help but feel

A necessary, never ending tenderness for Jane,

But only you,

It is only you, Jane

That the Raven no longer allows him to keep

And hold

And speak with

Only you, in his heart

And it grinds inside the dark raven so, as the dark raven knows how Edward loves her so

And the dark raven is

Like a broken gear but now the sad Edward fears

that he cannot leave

Cannot ever go,

Showering love like silver, choking

Him, a deep pool of ghastly, airless water

He needs Jane more than ever,

Even just as a friend, though

He yearns for her in body and heart

And soul

Edward & Jane

Kindred in word and deed,

Bottled up letters of love,

A messy tenderness of growing seed.

This is beautiful. It is expressive of the frustrations when it comes to falling in love.
