you once said

Don’t say good night

Now you say

Good bye

Edward had cried for your heart

And showed you his chains

But you think it is a “back and forth”

When it is a secret message in a

Bottle

From sea to sea

Far away but he thought so close

Chest to chest

Now you say good bye

Jane says, “Farewell!”

Just like in the book

Just like in life

Why?

No, goodbye “you”

Only sweet tomorrow

Only sweet, painful agony

And sorrow

He never rejected you, he was held over by an abusive dark raven—-

He tried to tell you this long ago,

He loved you the moment you said, “Don’t say goodnight,”

And dipped your sugar in the moon soaked, lemon butter tomorrow.
