Letter That Never Found You

Words Lost to the Silence of Goodbye

By Abdullah KhanPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I think I’ll write you a letter,

Pouring in every word I never said,

I’ll fill its pages with my unspoken sorrows,

Every secret thought, carefully penned.

I’ll tell you of the loneliness I hide,

Of the feelings that linger, buried deep inside.

In these words, I’ll unveil what I’ve longed to share,

The pieces of me I’ve kept sheltered, unaware.

I think I’ll write you a letter,

Let you know you’re on my mind, always there,

I’ll confess the moments you still visit my heart,

Yet, in this letter, no address to impart.

When you left, you took your path unknown,

No contact, no trace, I stand alone.

This letter of mine will never be sent,

Lost in the mailbox of my heart’s intent.
