Let them go

A light year away, if not more.

Let them go.

They wish to colonize Mars,

So let them go.

We've seen how well they take

To the depth of the ocean below,

I say let them make it a show.

It must be made exclusive, though.

Make them want the glory

Of being the first to know

How the sun sets on their new home.

Let them take their tech,

They can have their chemicals,

Their robots, and their fancy phones.

Let their computers grow their food,

Let their satellites hold them close.

Let them all go,

So all of us may stay

And finally start to regrow.
