Let's try and try again
Giving up ain't an option...
We may slip and stumble upon,
We may want to lose the dreams we own,
We may feel like we're not good enough,
We may fall down in the way of a steep trough,
We may say, "Shit! I missed my shot again,"
We may wanna sit in despair about losing our train,
We may feel lame to start over when it's the same way,
We may come to know that we missed another day,
We may trigger ourselves to give up on the coming year,
We may wanna quit the race against our fear.
BUT
If we slip and stumble upon, can't we learn to stand after a fall?
If we show our dreams the exit path, we'll turn around to the entrance hall.
If we feel like we're not good enough, let's be better and better this time.
If we find a steep trough, shouldn't we climb it all and sing with rhyme?
If we screwed up to aim that shot, let's reload our guns and do one more.
If we miss our train, the new one's coming, and I'm pretty sure.
If we feel this all 'repeated shit,' let's enjoy the 'Do-Over' and not sit.
If we miss another day, it's okay! There's no use to blaze up and grit.
If we rot for the coming year, but the future's not written yet—let's face it with cheer.
If we think of quitting again, let's pat each other's shoulders and say, "You can do it, my dear."

I wrote it for New Year's Eve, but I lost it, thinking I didn't draft it... Seems like I found it and I thought, "It's not too late". So here it is!
