Let’s Go Camping

Let’s go camping

To the bosque

We will pitch a carpa

Near the lago shore

We will hike among the arboles

We will climb the montaña

We will float on the canoa

Watching the pato and cisne.

As the sol sets

We will cook cena

Of pan, pollo and maíz

We will build a fogata

Under the inky cielo

Full of shining estrellas.

Until we feel sleepy.

Let’s Go Camping

Let’s go camping to the forest. We will pitch a tent near the lake shore. We will hike among the trees. We will climb the mountain. We will float on the canoe, watching the ducks and swans.

As the sun sets, we will cook dinner of bread, chicken, and corn. We will build a campfire under the inky sky, full of shining stars.

We will listen to crickets and share stories until we feel sleepy.
