Let's find a little love on a road trip

hop in the van and drive to a field of wildflowers

we can cuddle up close at night and lay under the stars

somewhere special with a waterfall not far away

let’s hop in the old van, give its horn a little honk, and we'll leave this pandemic in the rearview

let's drive to all the little towns we talk about, chatting with strangers and adding chapters to our love story

let's park at the cabin, walk through the field of wildflowers, and dance by the waterfall

close your eyes darlin, feel me holding you in my arms and smell that spring fresh smell of all that water turning to mist around us

Ain't it a nice thought? Leaving this pandemic in the rearview and chasing a few adventures instead

kissing in a hundred fields of wildflowers, cuddled up close under an endless stretch of night sky and stars

close your eyes darlin, can you feel the crisp cool air of all those nights and me leaning in to whisper a little love note in your ear

don't worry darlin, I'll wrap you up in my arms and keep you warm, I'll do it with a smile and steal a little kiss or two when I do

Lace your fingers with mine as we roll across all these miles, the wind blowing in our rolled down windows and the smell of a thousand wildflowers from a thousand little moments tucked in between, comes tumbling in

we can cuddle up close at night and lay under the stars

don't worry darlin, it might be a daydream right now but someday I'm going to give the van horn a honk and you'll know the adventure is on

hey beautiful, hop in, let's find a little love on a road trip
