Lessons in science

The lessons we missed

By Lauren McMahon Published 2 years ago 1 min read

I know what the world is made of.

I learnt it all in school.

I know about the smallest things,

The atoms and the molecules.

I learnt about important places and people of each century.

The subatomic particles and tiny strings of energy.

That’s connect us all.

Space and time.

Solid earth and fluid rain.

I learnt it all.

But I was never taught why I feel so vast, yet infinitely small.

This is a real first for me. I have been writing for a while. Stories, thoughts and poems. So I thought, I might start to share some.
