When Night Turns to Day

A new day breaks fresh and bright

When Night Turns to Day

The night has held its quiet reign,

Shadows whisper of loss and pain.

Stars fade slowly, retreating light,

Giving way to morning bright.

The air is soft, yet tinged with chill,

Memories linger, silent, still.

The darkness folds into the dawn,

A fragile hope is gently drawn.

Dreams that haunted the midnight hour,

Fade like mist as sunlight flowers.

Every tear and every sigh,

Becomes a spark beneath the sky.

The birds return with tender song,

Carrying hearts that once felt wrong.

Even grief that seemed too deep,

Finds solace in the day’s first sweep.

The sky turns gold, the clouds give way,

A soft caress of newborn day.

The world awakens, slow, aware,

Breathing light into the air.

I walk along the empty street,

Feeling night and morning meet.

Shadows linger, yet they fade,

Leaving warmth where fear once stayed.

Every ending holds a start,

A chance to mend a fractured heart.

The night may pass, the dark may stay,

Yet life will rise with each new day.

And as the sun climbs into sky,

I feel the past and present tie.

Through every shadow, cold or gray,

Love persists when night turns to day.
