what made you decide to forget me?
my soul loved you first, led my heart
sweet loving connection, ours
then I was left behind
no word from you, none
sobs left me drained
nothing soothed
my heart’s
gloom

Beautifully sad Nonet.🥺 Sometimes, I doubt there’s a good answer… the person probably doesn’t even understand what went wrong.
Your poignant expression captures the depth of emotional turmoil with honesty and grace, great job, love it!
Thanks for sharing the background info on Nonet, as this is new to me. Nicely crafted melancholy nonet.
Such heavy sadness. Well done, Andrea!
This nonet sounds like a Dear John or a Dear Jane letter to me trying to explain the why but cannot. Good work.
“What made you decide to forget me” - relatable! 👍☺️ Great job Andrea. Have a swell day!
Love'em and leave 'em. People. Sigh!
That's what people do, they always leave. Loved your Nonet!
The mystification in that first line.
Somber but beautiful nonet, Andrea.
