Leave the Gleanings -Of Your Harvest-
Community matters. Think of the difference in fervently scavenging for food in scarcity, versus knowing where to go to have just what you need.
Will you keep more than you need, or leave enough for those in need, to feed?
Leave the gleanings.
Reserving and hoarding serve two different masters. Think of the difference in losing space, hay losing its freshness - kept for calves that may never be born, while your neighbor’s cow goes hungry and stops producing milk for its young.
Will you keep all your barns of hay, when your neighbor needs a block a day?
Leave the gleanings.
Your trash is another’s treasure. They are your fruit, Your choice, Burn them up. Or bless in love.
Contribute, donate, share - Or pile up and let your harvest be your snare.
Leave the gleanings.
How does your harvest bless those around you?
How will your harvest bless you & yours?
How will your harvest leave seeds for tomorrow?
You were never meant to keep it all. Nurtured by your hands. Lying in your field. But meant to see if you will make the harvest.
