What’s the point of me fixing things

Changing things

Just for it to go back to the way it was

All my work is in vain

If I question you

You just yell at me and put me to shame

So if I don't want your help anymore

You think your way is the right way

When your way wasn’t working at first

You just keep going in circles

Blaming me for everything

But the reason is you think you know everything

So when I say please leave me alone

Telling me that you put your life on the line for me

But isn't life more than money

If you going to continue to listen to their lies

The audacity to yell at me and said I forced my hand

Get frustrated at me and said you don't understand

Leave all your worries to God

And don't worry about how I am going to pay this

Or how I'm going to live

Just know I am depending on Him

And He will never let me fall that hard

How I’m supposed to Him with you nagging all up in my ear

The way you want me to live is probably not the way God wants me to live
