Upon Approaching 50 Years
Upon approaching 50 years ...
When you wake up crying after a Christmas dream
After all the joy, the pain still stings.
Life and time mundanely march on day by day ...
Until the beams of God's Love
magnetize and synthesize our humanity.
Disheartening,
when you watch the way of the world spiral into entropy.
Disconcerting,
when you witness pain and suffering
warning you to be vigilant against evil.
These wounds must be irrigated with care
And bandaged with compassion.
Locate peace in God's pavilion.
Always look to and lean on God's Word.
BEWARE ... Do not seek alien inspiration.
Remember that God is with us
Inspiring and imparting wisdom within
As we trust
His sound vision for His people.
Dreams have shown us;
Christ has told us
That things will always change
as Our Father forever remains the same
Just be still and behold
the Love of God as it transforms everything.
