Instructions For A Happier Life

don’t be afraid to let your inner child be

find the child in another and let that truth set you free

when you strip away titles that have held you down

and stand face to face with the YOU that is found

then you can see the fears that we all try to hide

the softness that hardened from the struggles in life

dreams traded for survival and the fear we shoved down

all to get through the trials and wounds left unbound

then we can learn how to love with that fragile heart

imperfectly honest, tending to each broken part

when we let our guards down, revealing our weakness

we are free from the fear and pain that comes with those secrets

forgiveness is healing and it begins with you

and then others can love the realness in them, too

What a great way to give advice to others. This is quite creative.

Lovey, Kelli. It bounces along nicely with the rhyme, and the words are quite prophetic. Good luck.
