Though my strength increased as my heart tore, forever I shall go. I trudge through the muck of life forever pushing forward as my sorrows way me down. Crushing the spirit of a man blinded by pride only to realize it's too late. My pain has not healed but faded with only my memory to remain and add to the weight of my mind and spirit. Nothing to heal it as I break and crack. One day those cracks shall shatter and my strength disappear as I crash to my knees and tears fall from my eyes. I shall then reassemble myself with the mortar that slows my feet and continue to remember and remain.
