Hope
You go through these moments in life were you think it can't get any better, you are totally crumbling to pieces. Hopeless, lost, strengthless. You'll sob, whimper, scream, shout! Nothing matters anymore. You've given up. The pain has become too much. It has consumed you. Eaten you alive. You've cried enough tears to keep the Nile flowing. You turn every light on yet everything is still pitch black. You've had enough, haven't you? But I'm afraid you aren't done here yet. I know after you have wiped away the tears you will rise again, and maybe you might have to deal with it again tomorrow, and the next day. All i can tell you is, it means something, i haven't yet figured out what, you possess this incredible strength for some mystical reason. Maybe you are a beacon of light for others? Who knows. I'm just glad you are alive, i extend my arm to you, when you can no longer pick yourself up, i will offer my hand, and i will brush off your shoulders and remind you of who you are.

What Lies Behind
You look me in the eyes it’s there you see shadows of lies behind. Behind tears pain makeup and a few smiling masks. You’ll find the true me find my true past. It’s lies that I’ve told everyone else. I’ve told them so long I believe them myself. Taking back the masks makeup is all you see. I can't believe it is that really me? Eyeliner, lipgloss, mascara and more, cover up everything. Every single pore. Wiping off the makeup all you see is pain. A broken woman drowning in rain looking past the pain, a face covered by tears. Grief builds up over the years. A four-year-old ball of sunshine grew dim. Grew used to the years she let no one in. These harmful feelings I have repressed, no one knows that I am depressed.
