Last Words

By: Jd Kirk

By JD KirkPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

If these be the last words I write,

Let them have means of substance.

If these be the last words I write,

Let them strip the meat from bone.

If these be the last words I write,

May they be firm and decisive.

If these be the last words I write,

May they be light where there is none.

If these be the last words I write,

Let them be soft and kind.

If these be the last words I write,

Let them be right and just.

If these be the last words I write,

May they be so unapologetic.

If these be the last words I write,

May they be more than just dust.

About the Creator

JD Kirk

A torrid affair of seriousness and, well, not-so-much. We like all things from recipes to romance to rhythm to mayhem.
