Last place

No subtitle this time

By Juwann CookPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Never would have imagined that in my life I am not the main character

I am part of the supporting cast

I’m here to cheer every one on

While I stay in last

Last place has my name on it

Signed, sealed, delivered

I want more for myself

I want to be bigger

Often times I feel like I’m shrinking

As the times passes by

All of the letdowns and pain starting to catch up to me

They’re teaching me how to cry

If there was a prize for last place I’d have many

Locked away safely in storage

Just like people say it’s lonely at the top

Last place gets boring

sad poetry

About the Creator

Juwann Cook

I feel like poetry are the things that we want to say but society will look at us weird for the feelings that we have about something or someone, to make it easier for ourselves and others we just put it in writing.
