Last Breath

And when the time comes, when you take your last breath are you going to be proud of the person you have become?

Or did you allow your pain and your fear control you?

Are you going to be able to say that you loved to your fullest capacity?

Or did you allow one being, one experience, destroy the love that is you?

Can you say that you lived out your dreams?

That you followed your heart and soul?

Or did you choose to stay "stuck" in a job that consumed your soul because culture deemed it "safe?"

Did you live out your truth?

Or did you conform to what everyone told you was true?

Did you spend your entire lifetime pleasing and pleasuring everyone else but yourself?

Or did you give yourself all the love that you can possibly muster?

Did you tell those you love deeply how much they mean to you?

Or did you lack the courage to do so?

Did you allow yourself to believe that vulnerability is a weakness?

Do you know how deeply loved you are?

Do you know how deeply worthy you are of everything you desire?

Do you know that you are so much more than the work you do?

Do you know that you are not your past?

You only have one time in your body.

Yet, you have the opportunity to change your story at any moment.
