lanterns along a dark path by Solomon
Lanterns loosed through misted air. Light that parts what isn’t there. Spun in threads of frosted stare. Wandering paths too thin to bear.
Lanterns leaning, slow, inclined. Bloom without a sound or rind. Shade dissolves to rose unlined. Where the firm world frays behind.
Lanterns slipping—close, yet far. Time uncoils like falling spar. Echo thins to trembling star. Glow where no shape leaned or are.
Lanterns lifting, barely known. Veil of dusk through hush is sown. Held where quiet claims its own. Drift of what might breathe—alone.

Such a gorgeous, misty vibe. I could picture every lantern.
