Lantern In You Soothes and Supports

An ACROSTIC Poem for the Lantern Light Challenge

Light from your heart enfolds me in a vivid golden glow, an amber love tendril encircling me. My lantern.

Arms, hands, shoulders lift me, cover and comfort me, wooing me from my pain, I

navigate an arduous labyrinth illuminated by your cheer.

The thunder of you holds me safe under your warm love lantern,

exemplifying devotion, providing comfort in this journey to

recovery, with no

negotiations possible, just pushing on through a complicated maze of muscle constriction, anxiety, and sleeplessness

Immeasurable, indelible light dazzles in pulsating halos as the lantern beaming from

you centers me in fervent flames

my lantern

Needles of distress and discomfort are denied, I will not

yield to dismay, with your light keeping any

oppression of my spirit at bay.

Unlimited defines your luminescent umbrella draping me, and

so vividly burns the lantern, it

obliterates doubts and fears, creates an

orbit, a radiant path of resilience

thrusting us forward.

Honey hues flicker from your heart, a glowing candelabra lantern

eclipsing fears and boosting morale,

shattering strings of sadness,

abating

negativity,

doggedly pulling me along.

My lantern.

Sashaying will soon be possible,

under the Milky Way, we will be

pacesetters to the stars,

pirouettes in the forest for all the creatures to see

occluded by shrubs while shards of sun

rays filter through, on our pursuit of a

tangible goal,

supported and tethered in love’s luminous lantern.

Aww, I am so sorry you're having sleeplessness, anxiety and muscle constriction. The beat, pace and rhythm. Is so well done. The flowers are beautiful and your spouse is awesome. I love the repetition of how he became your lantern light. That is romantic and so deeply comforting to read. Best of luck in the challenge 🤗❤️🖤👌🏾👏🏾
