Land of Wonders

A fantasy world

By John WelfordPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I found a land of wonders

Where I could do anything.

Without a soul to call my own

I forged one from the stars

And stood tall with my head high

Until I came back down.

Without a heart to call my own

I took one from this strange land

And built a castle from my bones

Until I came back down.

Without a stomach to call my own

I stole one from a sea monster

And found myself in a land of sweets

Until I came back down.

Without an idea to call my own

I took some thoughts from an ogre’s head,

And built them into a world of dreams,

Until I came back down.
