Wanting eternal peace.

I just want to disappear

This is not how the end was supposed to be

I want to be gone

Gone into the Everlasting

Gone into that warm inviting light

That river of peace

That rest of goodness

I just want to disappear

Others get to disappear

I see them meet their end and then go on their way

But I can’t go

I am tied to the now

I’m stuck in the here

The trauma seared

This item bound

I shouldn’t have been here

Too young for fighting an old man’s war

Now stuck in this trinket

For time

Forever

I long to disappear

To join my friends

To join my family

I just want to disappear

My end was a beginning of eternal torment

I want to be gone

I want to disappear

But for now I wait

For now I haunt

Until I disappear

Into the Everlasting
