Laid to Bare

Succubus steal my prayer

I proffer my own heart, exposed, laid to bare.

Your insouciant ways destroy my plans, love I wish to share.

Thy suffering delights your callous nature, invoking malevolence.

Mistake me not, like a phoenix from ashes I rise, imbued with benevolence.

It was ripped from thy grasp, no chance to stave off attacks.

Another seed is shed, leaving her sullied, behind thy back.

On broken knees, I've wailed, my gut wrenched, a life consumed.

Inveigle for your gain, whilst I suffer, my soul, entombed.

No remorse for the execution of pain, crippled, we make amends to benefit your agenda.

My essence twisted, given up on truth and trust, torture, my endless addenda.

All mistakes I make, amplified by your impassioned core, it is who you are.

I am beaten, broken, salvation a dream - succubus steal my prayer!
