How boring is your life

on a scale of one to ten,

that you wish for an accident

but still don’t want to die?

Be very careful what you wish for.

Once it’s granted,

there’s no repeat.

You can actually do more.

Add some safe spices

instead of poison.

“But I’m aching for the thrill.”

Let’s hope it’s not in for the kill.

You may say you need a variety,

but your soul is much too sacred

to be sacrificed, you see?

What if an accident may save you,

from a week of drudge work?

Give you a holiday or two?

Sounds like heaven-sent,

especially with all the attention.

Who knows?

Your biggest crush might pop up too,

a slight chance for a possible romance.

Let’s get back to reality … shall we?

There are your bills waiting to be paid

and your health can help you to do more.

Yes, an accident makes a good story,

but are you sure you’re ready

if it really happens

but you’ll end up worse

than just being mortally wounded?
