Don’t judge a book by its cover
That’s what they always say
I guess that don’t apply to people
Cuz I get judged everyday
Speaking of judged, shes a Queer
Although she don’t do labels
They’ve been trynna turn her like they do with them tables
But she stands her ground
and she speaks with pride
Full transparency,
she's got nothing to hide
She can sing with Taylor Swift, the Script and Nickelback
Then debate the top 5 dead or alive kings of rap
She can hold her liquor and a good conversation
She can talk about God better than congregations
She can be a girl with the girls
And talk girls with the guys
Make a girl think she’s IT like her name was pennywise
Sometimes she goes by she
Most times she goes by they
It really all depends on the vibe of the day
My pants don’t have a gender
And neither does my shirt
Sticks and stones can break some bones
But words, sometimes they hurt
But I pay no nevermind to what a hater gotta say
It’s mind over matter and they don’t matter anyway
So please don’t let the cover of this book mislead you
Or imma have to flip through your pages and read you!
