Know My Dad

Want to know about my dad?

Just go to his shop

where he's always glad.

He doesn't use CAD,

nor PC or laptop .

Just all the tool he's ever had.

He dreams like a wide-eyed lad,working nonstop

on a vision so rad.

Give him a hammer with a well-worn pad,

or a sander that broke from a drop;

he'll still create like mad.

Nothing worries my dad

when he's at the table of his shop.

It's a little messy, but it doesn't make him sad.

And, nothing's ever bad

when his creations either fizzle or pop.

He's always glad.

And his happiness never makes us sad.
