Losing a loved one to depression

My lover, he is gone
Swept away by the storm
He has been gone for awhile now
But I wait for him to find his way home
Home where he's covered under the shelter of Love
Not just mine, but those who hold him dearly in their heart
But the storm rages on like there is no end in sight
The storm rages still, forevermore
The clouds part ways only for an instant
And I hear my lovers voice calling out from the distance
I run to be by his side
To lead him back home where he is sheltered by Love
But I am too late
The storm clouds grow heavier
The winds and the thunder, they rage on
My lover is lost, blinded by the rain drops that fall at his feet
The air is dense
Tinged with a bitter thickness
I search and still I do not find him
I cannot get to him where he resides in the eye of the storm
The storm envelops me
And it is hard to breathe, to think
The winds choke out my cries for help
The thunder, they silence me
I cannot stay out here, lest I too am consumed
I run home to where I am covered under the shelter of Love
I wait patiently for my lover to find his way home
Home is where he is covered under the shelter of Love
Love is patient and it is kind
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud
Love will always protect and trust and hope and persevere
Love does not fail
My lover, he is gone
Swept away by the storm
He has been gone for awhile now
But I wait for him to find his way home
Though the storm rages on
Harder than before
My lover calls out to me always
And therefore I will hope
Hope in Love's ability to bind us together again
Stronger than we have ever been before
Hope in my lover's ability to fight his way out of the eye
To find his way home to where he will be covered, once and for all, under the shelter of Love
