Went to my head

The way you first kissed me,

like it was a secret.

My heart and my head were in the very same place

*

And when you caressed me,

my heart it went crazy.

And my head said, come on now, you should slow down this pace.

*

But you fed the fire,

carried the match there in your pocket.

And I became your favorite flavor, different taste.

*

My head, it shot shivers, throughout my whole body,

My heart, skipped a beat, trying just to keep up.

Now I’m in a place of perpetual motion, asking my head, will you kindly, shut up 🤐
