Kiss Your Soul

On the Topic of Soul Mates, Twin Flames and Learning About Love

KISS YOUR SOUL

I think I'll find a poor man

to love and to hold

And we'll find a tent to share against the cold

And he'll be a kind of hero

To make winter feel like gold

pressing against the skin to stay warm

and autumn will be a breath of spring 🌱

and summer even better

There will be no toxic breezes to fight

against the rest

The devils will scurry from the light of our

minds that are surely dipped in radiance

from all the hunger

Dirt will know no beacon because we'll

pound it til it's soft

and water we'll pour freely from bottles handed us

Pity will never matter any more because the sanctity between us will retain our spirit, for ego is just a dust pan handed from Heaven to cleanse us

Laughing souls will turn away from the brightness of our pride

and we'll look in each other's eyes and

appreciate the every, everything between us

We'll forego clocks, doors, and windows, and

even clothes if beaches be our friend

There but the grace of God go I will be our anthem

Freedom shall bind us like no words could

The breezes shall shake the foundation we walk upon with gold leaf in our dreams

The garden be our keeper

The streams grow brighter

The windows of our mind wilder when open

Picnics will savour the day to serve ourselves in sunshine

We'll carefully put anger, vengeance or retribution in songs we sing instead

We'll busk and save our silver until we can bolt and run from whatever in life put us there

And start over

And together we will win

*

I think I'll find a wealthy man

to love and to hold

To make his world alright

To wrap my arms around his soul

lest he fall in lack of doubt

We'll wander the skies in our dreams

fashioning a star

just for the fun of it

And he'll be a kind of hero

People's fates we'll hold in our palms

and fiercely wrestle want, with no need

Find balance in the trees that lift to

resounding heights every time we forget our selves

Turn nature into a harboring thing to bury sins a plenty

Spend hours forcing ointment from our skin

exorcising the poison of the week from

toxicity of vipers that hold hands and

smile far beyond the winds of grace

Realize all assumptions that further

restraint and help the world's release from

hunger by giving generously

Teach the circumference of the nation with a

breadth of reason in acts of kindness

simply because our reach is bigger

Know the meaning of karma is beyond four walls

We'll find grace between the covers

of forever lovers with minds entwined in goodness

Fetch marbles to give to the poor to throw at doors

Change laws to affect change and bow on our way out

Take the purpose we were given at birth and

draw strings around flag poles to show

unity

in stand

Thank God of fate for fulfilling life path

when born

Hold succor in hand to gain momentum

to flight

Be superheros in people's minds

and give empires reasons to survive

Realize power is a gift

And start over

And together we will win.

*

I think I'll find a middle man

so we can share our virtues

So we can spin gold

from our own beginnings

To feel freedom in moments

not in lifetimes

And he'll be a kind of hero

To bend all time toward our wants

because time is a sacred thing

and work is shining or should be

Value is a dictum not a persuasion and learn

to fight

all reason to need

To put things like spirituality on a pedestal that's between the field of knowing and pretend and know the difference in order to lead indifference because the compass tells us so

To find fascination in the world around us

and be proud we did

To take a morsel and fill a union in good

guidance just for the sake of it

To take curtained light and field it from the

trickling beams of the moon so that we

can see ourselves better in reflection of the sun

Let rivers spoon our loving embrace because

nothing is more fluid than love

Know nothing stops the human race

from standing up for itself

Know no foothold will ever take us down because we learned how to stomp first and glass slippers never shine unless they're sidewise up a crevice

To bring cathedrals to mountains so that

distant shores can see them

To plead to thunder to become rain itself

like our souls shedding all forms of nature

so that little things grow again

To mark stars with little hearts that freeze on

cold windows like diamonds and blend again in warm evaporation

Remember that love begins with Light

and turmoil never meets passion in the

middle so that we can know each other

once again and lifetimes settle sweetly

And start over

And together we will win

I get it. I need to read more of your stuff. I'm sorry I don't but I just don't get on Vocal as much as I used to - I will try to do better in the future. Until then, keep doing what you do so well. Thanks.
