kilter

a work of longing

Chase me.

Stained teeth in gore

of

morning light.

The sun exists to glow.

Shake me apart with razor teeth,

in glaring nadir eye light.

break bones,

break head,

break even.

Trap me.

Pull apart in bruises

of

failing light.

The sun exists to glow.

Swallow whole, words and all,

disappear into night.

Burnt bones,

burnt head,

burnt even

though I stay inside.

Breathe in,

follow me down,

darkness, wet heat.

Open wide,

fangs strang to tongue.

Breathe o u t.

Smile your wolf smile.

eat me

alive
