Five—Locked in a perpetual battle against my failing senses and reason, I fight to survive, to get through; I am afraid of... nothingandeverythingallatonce—...—my mouth is dry, and my muscles seize up... what can I see? I can see the birdcage and birds; I can see the watercolour my beautiful wife painted many years ago and unlocked her journey into art; I can see the empty mug of tea as it sits perilously on the arm of the sofa; how many is that now? Nature can be harmful too😢
Poor trees. Electro-biochemical entity like us. Can't handle so much electric energy.
What a creative and accurate description of just how powerful nature can be!
That description of the killer storm really paints a vivid picture. I've seen some intense storms myself. There was one where the lightning was so bright it felt like daylight at night. It's crazy how a single strike can kill a tree. Made me wonder what kind of electrical charge builds up in those storms to cause such damage. How do you think we could better protect ourselves and our property during these extreme weather events?
This is sad but actually kind of true to fact. Why one must not stand under a tree during a thunder and lightning storm. Good job.
