Kept to Myself
This is a poem I wrote during class when I was supposed to be working

Kept to myself are
My thoughts
My wants
My fears
Kept to myself
My needs
My failures
My self
except for you
You know
everything
I spill and spew and tell
You know me down to every cell
But I keep you to myself too
it's just me and you
I'm the only one who knows
And since I keep you,
the holder of my secrets,
so close to my heart
Doesn't that mean I really am kept to myself, after all
- Malawi
Thanks for reading, I thought of this poem during English class after we had just finished listening to a poem and we were supposed to be analyzing it, but I had some inspiration.
