Keep your own council

Once out others jealousy grow

In Your Own Hands by George’s Girl

Never place your joy in another's palm,

happiness blooms in the soul's quiet calm.

The key to success lies within your own grasp,

A treasure to cherish, not one to unclasp.

Keep silent the whispers of dreams you hold dear,

Let not the left hand disclose to the right ear.

For in secrets we weave, a delicate thread,

What’s shared in the light may soon be misread.

A closed book is wisdom, a fortress of thought,

Guarding the treasures that time cannot rot.

So nurture your visions, both fragile and grand,

For the path to your triumph is carved by your hand.

In shadows of silence, let your spirit take flight,

True strength resides in the depths of the night.

Remember, dear heart, as you travel along,

Your happiness dances in the words of a song
