A part of me says that I'm doing just fine
The other says that I'm walking on a thin line
"You're at your breaking point" plays around in my mind
And that the next insult won't be taken too kind
My heart always says to me "Do what you feel"
Then my brain chimes in "Boy just keep it real"
My fists clench up when my nerves start to peel
Back until my conscience tells me "Boy your hearts like steel"
I take it all into consideration
And what it's all worth when the damage is done
I can't be a model for my unborn son
If I go through life knowing that my anger has won
So I relax keep it cool on the scene
Brush it off my shoulders walk around with a lean
Give this common knowledge to the ones on my team
Always keep it real and swerve pass the obscene
