If you’re going to leave just go

I won’t make you stay

You hold me back

with all you say

“It’s for your best interest”

You love to quote

But truth is you don’t trust my mind, my heart, my soul

And when it comes to what I care about

I never have your vote

I wish I could run and never turn back

To have someone who gives a crap

Who supports me and my dreams

To see the possibilities

To be a place for me to lean

Instead of the push off of the cliff

All I want is a love like this

But you are clearly not that one

so if you won't just go

I'll have to run

love poems
