The sun rises in the east

It sets in the west

So take your time

And do your best

What a long trip it has to take

Across the sky

Yet it always feels as you say hello

You soon have to say goodbye

Life goes so slow

And yet so fast

A hare and tortoise all the same

Think before you act

Yet act quick

Life is a paradox

That can not be denied

We give it our best

We try to thrive

Our time is so short

Yet seems to drag

Especially at times

When we feel trapped

Like in a bag

But hold on tight

And take a deep breath

And take it just

Step by step
