I am right where I'm supposed to be

In between rough and pretty

I don’t compete I let both show

You say I am not an expert well you’re right

I am somewhere in between

I do not pretend to be anything I am not

I am a work in progress, and I am a beauty

Your approval is not needed

I believe in me

Many kill themselves to fit the status quo

But I do not because it's offensive to my soul

And she spews at the thought of

Being caged in by your opinions

Open your mind and see the beauty within me

Or not What does it matter

Only genuine love matters

True love abides within me
