Just as Sure

as the world goes round

By Gaille HunterPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Just as sure. As the world goes round, round, round.

I get caught up in the ride.

It looks me up so high, but the ferris wheels got to come down.

Down down, the ferris wheels got to come down.

I am but a tiny drop of water in the ocean,

a tiny grain of sand beside the sea.

There are so many others all around me,

but this is who ever meant to be.

There are reasons why i'm not quite as angry,

many reasons why i'm never quite so sad:

the waves of love and peace of washed over me,

the bright sun and the heroes that i've had.

love poems
