Just A Girl Who Fell In Love

Chasing dreams, hearts, and butterflies.

Just A Girl Who Fell In Love

Just a girl who fell for you

Gave you all, said I do

Just a fool, so soft, so true

Chasing dreams that led to you

Just a girl with open hands

Built you kingdoms in the sand

Trusted every word you said

Laid my heart where angels tread

Held you close in midnight hush

Spoke your name with every blush

Thought your arms were made for me

Safe and wild as love should be

Still I wait, and still I ache

Loving dreams that never wake

Waterfalls that kiss and run

Like your love when day was done

Just a girl, not made of glass

Not some ghost you let slip past

All I asked was to be seen

To be your fire, not just a dream

So if you feel me in the night

If my name still burns too bright

Don’t forget the love we knew

I was real, and I was true

What a way to tell whomever off. Good job.

Yes the love we feel is true and while we may feel foolish-it's valid
