And there she is, lying on her bed all curled up with her pillow and alone in her room feeling unhappy and stuck in her mind. Her thoughts were chaotic and suffocating her. A break is needed from her train of thoughts, her emotions being choked up and couldn’t calm herself down. Suddenly, tears began to fall from her eyes, tried her best to hold them back but she failed.

She was drowning in her emotions and sadness when suddenly, it started to rain. The rain caught her attention, she stood up and rushed to the window. She stared dreamingly at the rain, she watches the raindrops falls. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, savoring the feeling and smell of the cool breeze on her face.

She loved the way the rain felt and smelled. It was like a balm for her soul. She loves the way it startles with its sudden presence, but then seduces with its fragrance, how it announces its arrival with loud noises but creates music with tiny drops and clouds. How it sends chills down your spine, but makes your tea taste a little better, how it darkens the light of the sun and makes the environment gloomy, but makes everything look brighter after it’s gone. How it makes horror scenes a little more dramatic, but makes love songs sound a little more romantic, how it makes you long for the ones you love, reminding you that you share the same sky. It takes away the blue of the sky, but gives back a generous amount of lilac.

There is something about the rain that even a non-poet can write a poem about. At last, the distraction she needed. She sighed, opened her eyes and her lips blossomed into a smile.

The rain was the distraction she needed. It was soothing and calming. It helped her to clear her mind and relax. It helped her to forget about her troubles and focus on the present moment.

Although the rain is a powerful force of nature. It can be both destructive and beautiful, can also be gentle and powerful. But for her, the rain was a source of comfort and peace. It helped her to find solace in her sadness and to find hope for the future. It reminds her both the beauty and fragility of life.

She was grateful for the rain and knew she would never take it for granted anymore.
