Judgement

Red handprints mark the page so bold

Every line can be discovered like palmistry

Red the color of rage

Red the color of flags

Blue lines run down in straight lines

So organized like fluid waves

Always back and forth timed like soldiers marching

Cobalt blue like a glass blowers delight

Pink like the inside of a delicate seashell

Like the sky of master painters

Bright like the fuchsia azalea

Pink like the forgotten stuffed bear

Purple swirls around your head

So Royal and precious

Iris lined paths of delight

Don’t look away or you might miss the show

Down to the depths

A big black hole

Ebony screams with a hiss

Black orbs hold thoughts so dark

Even the darkest night can’t compare

Up again through the dirt brown roots break through

Burnt sienna growth goes racing to the sun

Reaching the edge of soil anew

Oh the green growth has arrived

Pale celery green but changing

Growing richer and fuller forest green

Leaves upon leaves waving in the wind

Changing to an ever vibrant emerald jewel

Colors everywhere

Not just one to describe

The facets of my life

Look to the left see the yellow sun

Look to the right see the silvery moon

Any given day you will see a different side

What color do you see?

inspirational
