Joy in Jesus
A poem about strength in the Lord.
When your entire world crashes
And your life turns to ashes
There is joy in knowing Jesus
When you’re tired of feeling fake
And want to shout your hearts aches
He will carry you through
You will cry tears
Have concern about your fears
Go though it to the other side
Miss your spouse in your bed
Have questions in your head
But one day after giving all you had
The pain isnt so bad
You realize He kept you

A Dart at Dusk
Seconds ago, the sullen sun set on the two of us… my exuberant furry companion and me. A fresh breeze embraces us, delivering welcome relief from the day’s oppressive heat. His typical stumbling and staggering along — apace with a sloth — has turned into trip-trapping, high-stepping, almost skipping along.
