❤️A Peaceful Soul Taken from us❤️
John was a man of love and peace,
Whose music brought our hearts release.
With every note, he shared his dream,
Of a world united, so it seemed.
His voice, a beacon shining bright,
A gentle soul, full of light.
Through every song, he healed the pain,
And taught us all to love again.
But in a flash, his life was taken,
A peaceful soul, so harshly shaken.
The world stood still, hearts full of grief,
As we lost him, beyond belief.
His music still fills the air,
A legacy that’s always there.
Though he is gone, his spirit stays,
Guiding us through the darkest days.
Taken too soon, his fans still cry,
As the world asks, “Why, oh why?”
But his love remains, forever true,
In every song, we feel him too.

My favorite is 'Imagine' for I can wear a CD out for I have worn out tapes of this song. Great article and a man taken too soon.
This hits me kind of deep. I grew up with the Beatles and have a framed collector photo and record with John and Yoko on my bedroom wall. I hope he’s still playing music with Sgt Pepper. A lovely ode to a beautiful soul.
