Love and warm firesides
Keep us from the winter gloom
Red apples falling
Sweeter than the fruit
Linger through the autumn mist
Orange trees waving
Bright sun shines through strong
Warming cuckoo’s silent egg
Yellow friend returns
Nature wraps a cloak
Around our naked bodies
Green soft leaves flutter
Forever each day
Covering the landscape scene
Blue skies envelop
Insects swarm through grass
Lonely despite their numbers
Violet bird swoops low
