Jabberwocky

For Ellie Hoovs' Unofficial Wonderland Poetry Prompts Challenge and not to be confused with Jabberwookiee

By Rachel DeemingPublished 8 months ago 1 min read
Created by the author using Nightcafe but not really looking much like I'd imagine a Jabberwocky to look like at all

There once was a poet who wrote

A nonsense verse people could quote.

His vision was clear

Words we'd never hear

From him, made for us to take note.

Jabberwookiee

By William Warby on Unsplash

A scuffy tongle of wilsome hair,

He'll gregare you til you have no sare.

He's not a crade who'll steal your cwarm

He merely wants to rabe and larm.

Let him take you to the stars

His ship a creofate of gwars.

Beyond, you'll skirk into the bair

And deat your ears with Wookiee xare.

  • Amazing… Chewie, in all his glory! Reminds me of a Reliant K song “Gibberish”🤣. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtZct4iseUg
