It was like he appeared from the sun’s rays
Stood ‘fore me with a grin, smiled deep gin
High palms swayed blessing long hot summer days
Introduced himself coy, growing sly grin
.
His converse were black, his blonde curls shone bright
He came close and the heat started to rise
We sauntered, we swayed, day turned into night
Stole a swift kiss that I felt in my thighs
.
Knife wound fresh, tattooed wings of black on back
Lit a joint in the sand, touched by his hand
Salty lips on skin, it’s sugar we lack
Candy coated slow words purr my command
.
And so, it always goes with summer love
Sets with the sun, waves descend, soaring dove
